Elizabeth Golike, MS, CCC-SLP, Owner
Liz is the owner and founder of Speech & Beyond Therapy Services. She began her career as an elementary teacher and found her calling working with children one on one. In pursuit of her passion, she earned a Master of Science degree in Speech, Language, and Auditory Pathology from Nova Southeastern University.
Liz has worked as a speech pathologist with children and adults in homes, daycares, schools, and hospitals. As a military spouse, she has had the opportunity to work in settings across the country from California, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and now in the beautiful state of Alaska. She enjoys exploring the outdoors with her husband and three children.


Taylor Link, MS, CCC-SLP
Taylor is originally from Seattle, WA. Her passion for her career began during her undergraduate program, where she spent three years volunteering with Young Life Capernaum, a program designed to build community for those with special needs. Married to an Air Force pilot, she has had the opportunity to live in several places such as Massachusetts, Texas, Florida, and now Alaska. Prior to staring her graduate program, she took a gap year to gain experience as an SLP-A in the Boston area. She graduated in 2021 from Baylor University with a Masters of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
She has worked in a variety of settings such as public schools, pediatric clinics, and skilled nursing facilities. Since moving to Alaska, she has loved exploring all the state has to offer and enjoys going camping, hiking, skiing, and spending time with her husband and dog.
Valerie Gorm, BS, C-SLPA
Valerie is originally from New Mexico, where she earned her degree in Elementary Education from the University of New Mexico. As the spouse of a drilling engineer, she has had the unique opportunity to work in diverse school districts across North America, from Houston, Texas to Calgary, Alberta, and many places in between. After taking a few years off to raise her two children, she felt a strong pull to return to her passion for working with children. She pursued and obtained her Speech Language Pathologist Assistant certification from the University of Alaska, Anchorage and has since dedicated herself to supporting children in various settings, including schools, daycares, and homes.
In her free time, Valerie loves to embrace the Alaskan lifestyle with her family and their Newfoundland poodle, Ruger.
